Daemon Defense was the primary contractor responsible for all media and technology strategy and infrastructure for the $180 million expansion and renovation of the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They were responsible for creating a state-of-the-art, rich media management and content delivery network (CDN) to provide world-class IT experiences for clients and guests. This custom CDN is one of the first in the world to dynamically stream video over either the internet or the International Research and Education network. This solution provided RBC Convention Centre with the level of performance and ease-of-use they were counting on. The RBC Convention Centre has seen unparalleled growth since the renovation, and is now the fourth-largest publicly owned convention centre in Canada.
